LA MUSIC FESTIVAL
The TAPS LA MUSIC FESTIVAL brings communities together through live music while enhancing the lives of young musicians in the process.
10 collegiate or post-collegiate participants will apprentice with professional musicians as they perform chamber music, take lessons, attend masterclasses, and participate in community outreach activities together, coaching local students in the Los Angeles area who are receiving music instruction for the first time.

All accepted in-person participants will receive free tuition!

In partnership with the Switzer Center and Hollywood Scoring Studios, the TAPS LA Music Festival will run from August 1-14, culminating in a series of five concerts. The festival will take place in-person, and accepted participants will be offered a fellowship covering tuition.

Participants must be aged 18-32.
All participants will receive a fellowship for free tuition, however the following fees are still applicable:
Housing Fee - $500
Comprehensive Fee - $375
In-person participants must submit an application and audition video to be considered for the festival. An audit option will also be available for remote participants to watch all masterclasses. (More details coming soon.)
Videos need not be a single take. If circumstances limit access to certain instruments, you may submit a video without the repertoire for that instrument. Instructions to submit audition videos will be provided after you complete the application form and submit the fee.
Auditions must be submitted online by June 15.
