ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
We are thrilled to announce that TAPS will be accepting eight percussion fellows and four piano fellows! TAPS LA Music Festival 2024 will take place June 16th-30th at California State University, Long Beach in Long Beach, California. Thanks to our generous donors, TAPS covers tuition, housing, and meals for every fellow admitted to TAPS. Fellows live in the CSULB dorms and receive meals from the on campus dining hall. Fellows pay an administrative fee upon acceptance.

2024 APPLICATION INFO
To apply for TAPS 2024 Music Festival, you must submit the following:
1. One page artistic resume
2. Audition video (*see details below)
3. Application fee (*see details below)
Early deadline: before January 1st, 2024, $65
Regular deadline: before February 1st, 2024, $85
Extended deadline: before February 15th, 2024, $100
Late application: by March 1, 2024, $115
All applications are due March 1, 2024 at 11:59pm PST. Results will be announced in early March.

Candidate's choice of contemporary solo (2-4 minutes)

Multi-Solo
Improv on a multi-percussion setup of candidate's choice. Show off your strengths
and creativity!

PIANO 2024 AUDITION REPERTOIRE:
Solo Repertoire:
1. Candidate's choice of a piece written before 1950 (single movement of a sonata is allowed, min. 5 minutes)
2. Candidate's choice of a contemporary piece written after 1950 (no time limit)
3. Optional: A chamber music recording is highly encouraged, preferably a trio or any bigger ensemble, but duos are acceptable.
