TAPS LA Music Festival is a two-week intensive program for percussion students led by some of the top performers in the field.

At TAPS LA Music Festival, fellows will have the opportunity to develop in every aspect of musicianship. Fellows participate in masterclasses, take mock auditions and private lessons, lead outreach at Switzer Learning Center-School, and perform concerts featuring chamber ensembles and solo repertoire for the community.
We firmly believe high quality percussion education should be available for all students and offer tuition, housing, meals, and classes at no cost to our fellows.

Due to the generosity of our donors, TAPS covers tuition, housing, meals, and transportation for each of our fellows. Donate $3,000+ to be eligible for our Fellowship Sponsorship benefits.

A TAPS fellow will be named in your honor and because of your gift, a student will be able to attend the seminar and share their love of music with the community.

One-Time Annual Donation:

Make a one time donation to TAPS and actively participate in our mission to make high quality percussion education accessible for all.
Annual donations help fund festival costs as well as further the TAPS mission year-round.
Instrument/Mallet Donation:

During our festival, we present masterclasses and hold a mock audition. Companies may donate instruments to be used by our faculty in masterclasses and given as prizes for our TAPS Mock Audition.

Companies choosing to donate instruments work closely with our social media receive recognition on our website, emails, social media, and programs.
